Assessment: Career Checkup

Ask and answer these four questions at least once a year:

1. How would I describe my ideal job? What skills, interests and values must it reflect?

2. Where would I like to be in my career in the next three to five years?

3. What do I need to do to reach this goal? Should I get more education, make my position known to the people who can help me get what I want, or change my direction or career?

4. When I reach the end of my paid career, what will I want to have accomplished?
